Rules and Guidelines for Roleplaying
Here in Akriri Nest, we encourage interactions between fellow BirdFolk and are interested in seeing you expand the world.We try to
keep rules minimum, fair and there for the protection of users, not as a hindrance to creativity.

God-Modding
“God-Modding” is a term used for when someone's character has the ability to do practically anything without limits or boundaries. Please keep your character’s skill level in the boundaries of what is commonly accepted to Akriri.
Damage
-Violent scenes and interactions do occur in roleplays, however targeting a certain user to exceedingly hurt their Akriri without discussing with them prior, is not allowed. Any long-lasting or permanent damage to any Akriri participating in a roleplay should be discussed beforehand as it changes overall appearance of their BirdFolk and how the character interacts. Minor damage is allowed but please keep it situational. Please keep gore to a minimum and try to keep the material safe for users of a wide age range to read.**
** This is including sexual content. Soliciting or engaging in cybersex (exchanging descriptions of sexual experiences) or mature content role play is not allowed.
Skill Level
This forum adopts a very loose and nonrestrictive roleplaying format. There is no word limit or minimum requirement and all skill level is welcome to participate. Please keep in mind that everyone is at a certain writing level, and to be thoughtful and courteous when reading or responding to their posts. Any harrassment of another's writing skill will not be tolerated. If a member is harassing, or consistently pressuring you to not participate due to your skill level, please speak with a moderator or administrator.
Character “Registration”
Posting a bio of your character in the Character Directory isn’t a requirement. Any BirdFolk in the Masterlist can participate in roleplaying. However, posting information about your character encourages interactions to become seemless, allows users to browse characters to interact with, and helps users know what to expect from your Akriri.
Open/Closed Roleplays:
"Open" Threads: Any member who wishes to participate may. The original poster of the roleplay may specify a theme, story outline, or the general mood. Please keep in mind that this style of roleplay, due to the ebb and flow of many users, is bound to have many changes. It is your responsibility as someone joining, to read the prior post to know the events that are currently relevant to the roleplay.
"Closed" threads are the opposite – This is a sign for others that you are involved in a scenario or story that involves certain BirdFolk and is not open for outside users to join in. The number of people invited is entirely up to you and your roleplay partner(s).
Location:
The location should stay the same if you have posted in a certain geographic region on the map of Kel Del. For example, if you wish to start a roleplay in Usa that involves traveling to Quiet Thicket, please post the roleplay in the Out of Community section.
